Evidence-based Spine Surgery in the Real World

Welcome to the Online Abstract Center.

Abstract Submission Guidelines.
All abstracts must be submitted through the AANS/CNS Section on Disorders of the Spine and Peripheral Nerves online Abstract Submission Center. Abstracts may not exceed 300 words and must include four areas:
  • Introduction - Should clearly state the problem and purpose of the study.
  • Methods - Should provide a description of what was actually done.
  • Results - Should contain the findings of the study.
  • Conclusions - Should be based upon the findings and relate to the stated purpose of the study and existing knowledge.
Award Submission Guidelines.
If you are applying for the Mayfield Basic Science Award, The Mayfield Clinical Science Award, or the Outcomes Committee Award a 1,500 word manuscript must be submitted through the AANS/CNS Section on Disorders of the Spine and Peripheral Nerves online Abstract Submission Center prior to the September 16, 2010 deadline.

Please note: The AANS/CNS Section on Disorders of the Spine and Peripheral Nerves will not accept papers that have been submitted and accepted at other neurological and/or medical meetings. If you plan to submit your abstract prior to the selection notification, you must disclose this information.
